Climate is the measure of patterns in meteorological variables in a given region over long periods of time. Meteorological variables include temperature, precipitation, wind, etc. Climate change is a cause for controversy in public policy and responsible business practices. Accurate information and public understanding are essential to the proper handling of the issue.
