MetorIn 2013, the annual Orionid meteor shower is expected to rain down its greatest number of meteors before dawn on October 21. The previous morning (October 20) might feature meteors, too. There’s just one caveat for this year’s Orionid meteor shower, but it’s a big one: the moon. Full moon comes on October 18, 2013.
